Dosage
Threatened premature labour To be individualized. Max: 40 mg daily. Threatened abortion 5 mg 3 times daily for 5-7 days. May be extended if necessary. Habitual abortion 5-10 mg daily as soon as pregnancy has been diagnosed until at least 1 mth after the critical period.
Administration
May be taken with or without food (May be taken w/ meals if GI upset occurs.).
Contraindications
Abnormal liver condition.
Special Precautions
Diabetes.
Adverse Drug Reactions
Nausea & vomiting.
